Before Rex came to providence
"Kai!" Doctor Holiday ran through the Evo infested woods . She had on a uniform that was required to be worn by every agent in providence.
"Kai!... Kai were are you!" She repeated. She breathed heavily pushing branches and vines out of her way running towards a light. Holiday came into an open field were she slowly came into a walk and then stopped. Her head looked side to side while her green eyes scanned the area. Her chest quickly moved in and out as she tried to catch her breath. She gulped as she noticed bodies of dead Evos... Incurable beings who's red substance covered the ground like it covered her suit.
"Jesus Kai were the hell are you." There was a sickening growl. Holiday looked up to see the back of an Evo a couple feet taller than herself about 17 yards away from her. It fell backwards as blood spurted from the gapping whole in its chest and landed with a loud thud. A young girl with shoulder length black hair and dim green eyes that matched the doctors had her pistol still in place from when she shot the monster. Her arm dropped and her hand released the weapon. Holiday smiled and ran towards the girl.
"Kai there you are what were you thinking?" The girl known as Kai was shoulder length to the doctor. She looked up at the older women, Holiday gasped as she saw yellow blotches taking over her younger version's green eyes.
"Sis I don't feel so good." Kai coughed and spit up blood. It landed on holiday's chest and she fell over. Holday caught her.
"Kai!" her arms wrapped around her younger sibling and she dropped to the ground. "Kai what's wrong? Come on honey look at me." Holiday gently tapped Kai's cheek before noticing a gapping scratch like wound going across her stomach.
"Holiday!" agent six ran through the trees and walked up behind her. "What's wrong? What happen?" He became silent when the doctor turned her head to six. A single tear drop streamed down her face and dripped off her cheek. She turned away and faced her sister and pulled her closer into a hug. The blood from Kai's stomach was slowly soaking into Holiday's own uniform. Agent six walked over to the two sisters and knelt down. He brushed a strand of hair out of the seventeen year olds face. Kai slowly opened her eyes.
"Kai!" Holiday almost yelled. Kai coughed agin
"You're lucky to be alive kid." Six told her she looked at him and smiled Six noticed the dis coloration in her eyes. He frowned. "I'll be back with help." Holiday nodded. a half n hour went by and six came back. He saw holiday leaning against a rock holding her sister against her chest. Two men came behind them with a stretcher and lifted Kai's limp form on it. Six carefully picked up Holiday's sleeping from. Every night Holiday walked into the hole were the kept her sister. She would sit inside the cell and allow Kai to cry on her lap in pain as the inside changed first. it wasn't long before she couldn't even take a step in the cell.
"How is she." Six asked. Holiday jumped and looked at the man.
"Well thanks to you she's still breathing." Holiday told him. Six nodded.
"I know how much she means to you I'll make sure white doesn't lay his hands on her." He explained. Holiday nodded.
"Thank you so much." She told him.
"Come on I want you to meet someone." Six said. They walked back into the office. Holiday walked over to their guest and knelt down.
"Hello my names holiday how bout you?" She asked. The small boy walked over to her.
"It's rex miss."
