Bring Him Home:
By: Fancy Face

God on high
Hear my prayer
In my need
You have always been there

Bilbo was in his home, at his current residence (Rivendell), and looked sadly out his window. Out his window he saw Frodo leaving, along with several others. They were known as the Fellowship. They were out to journey and destroy the One Ring. A burden that Bilbo did not want Frodo to bear.

He is young
He's afraid
Let him rest
Heaven blessed

When Frodo was out of sight, Bilbo turned away from the window. 'Have to keep busy.' the old Hobbit thought to himself. He was missing Frodo all ready. His heart ached terribly but knew if he was to let out all of his emotion that would soon lead to depression. Bilbo did not want to do that. He wanted to be well and healthy when the young lad when he returned.

He's like the son I might have known
If God had granted me a son

To keep busy, Bilbo had gone into his study and started reading his book: "A Hobbit's Tale" by: Bilbo Baggins. All of his memories of his journeys started to flood back to him. He wished that he could have gone on this journey but knew that he could not. One, it was not his destiny and two, he was getting old.

The summers die
One by one
How soon they fly
On and on
And I am old
And will be gone

When his memories had washed away for the moment, Bilbo asked himself: "How will Frodo be when his journey is done?" Bilbo prayed silently that Frodo would not turn out like him. The Ring had placed a strange effect on the old Hobbit.

Bring him peace
Bring him joy
He is young
He is only a boy

The last time he showed the sign of the effect was just a few minutes before Frodo left. He did not like the effect. It made him a monster. A monster in which, Bilbo did not want Frodo to become.

You can take
You can give
If I die
Let me die
Let him live

Bilbo could not read any longer, he had gotten a headache and put the book away. He then left his study, and went to his bedroom. Then he went to his bed. Bilbo had gone to sleep as soon as his head hit his pillow. He had dreamed that Frodo had returned home, safe and sound, and without the Ring.

Bring him home
Bring him home

When he had awaken from his nap, he looked up and said: "Bring him home." Then a small tear had started to run down his check. "Just bring him home saftely."

Bring him home
