Ivana Braginska was in her study until she heard the noise. "Where is sestra?" the familiar and irritated voice said. In a panic, she quickly shut the door and turned off the light. She started to run towards the attic knowing that her brother was right behind her.
Undress in the dark…
Hide from you… all of you…

Ivana could just imagine it now. His words kept playing in her head like a record player. "Marry me, sestra. Marry me. Marry me. Marry me. Marry me. Let's become one."
I can't believe you'd ask these things of me…
She honestly couldn't believe it. They were siblings! Why would Nikolai want to marry her? It wasn't even allowed! She ran up the attic stairs and locked the door. For extra measure, she barricaded it with a wardrobe and hid in the dark corner.
Footsteps approached the attic door and the door shook as someone was trying to open it. "Sestra~ let us become one!" said Nikolai on the other side of the door.
The Russian female shut her eyes and pleaded with her might. "Go away. Go away. Go away."

Nikolai was growing more angry at the door. He started to kick it. 'Sestra, open this damn door now! We are getting together whether you like it or not!" he hissed as he tried to break down the door. Ivana put her hands over her head, as she was frozen in fear. She knew that the door wouldn't last. She could see it starting to split in half.
I can't escape the twisted way you think of me…

The doorknob flew across the room and right at Ivana's feet. It was over now. The wardrobe fell but Nikolai easily avoided it, letting it fall down the stairs. With a confident chuckle he said, "Big sister… the doorknob that was standing in between us is gone. Isn't that nice?"

Nikolai advanced into the corner where his precious sister was hiding from him. He had her cornered now. She couldn't run from him. He took her hand and pulled her close to him.
