Title: Who She Is

Disclaimer: I don't own Gossip Girl, any of its characters or anything of that much value.

Summary: "It's stupid for you to want her to be anything other than she is." Because Chuck truly gets it. CB

A/N: I stil have series yet to be finished but the previous GG eps got me a bit depressed. And university has been crazy, it's my final year. Thank God for Chuck! That one line made me jump in the air, Yes! Finally the writers are showing the Chuck knows how it is. Leaving Nate once again to pull his standard confused face. iheartchuckbass. And thus the little drabble was born, because that may have been my favourite quote in a long time.

She is many things, and even if I can't admit it yet, I do love each intricate facet.

When she's in form at school she leaves the other girls behind. Queen B and rightly so. I pride myself on being a scoundrel, the antagonist, the bad guy. I'm Chuck Bass.

Yet for her I'd be the dark knight and serve her. Just her.

She's beautiful always, but she blazes when she's scheming. She has a sharp mind and a dark glint in her eyes that never ceases to fascinate me.

The only woman who could ever best me, she is my equal, my match.

Even when she is broken, fragile and defeated, she's fire. Not raging intense, but like embers smouldering just waiting to ignite. I admit, there were times when I was the one to break her, but my Blair knows how to get her own back.

My lover knows how to hurt me as much as I know how to hurt her. I must be a masochist because I love that about her too.

She plays the bitch card so well, but underneath she has a clean and pure heart. I've been lucky enough to see it, and she in turn can see every part of me. Running from grief, she knew the words to get me to take pause.

On a ledge, on the roof of Victrola she was my saviour.

She is more than a rich little girl, a high school queen, a socialite trophy. She might be lost right now, but that doesn't change the facts. She is more than you could ever conceive.

So yes Nathaniel, it is stupid of you to want her to change, to be anything other than she is.

She is Blair Waldorf and that should be enough.
