Inuyasha
He stared at the flowing blood,
Watching dispassionately as demons
Devoured his black, tainted soul,
In his quest to posses the light
And to end the eternal pain.
When she returned, nothing was left.
The inside of the cave he had left
So that he could spill the lover's blood,
Causing them never ending pain,
Creating for them many internal demons.
Later, our Alice fell down the well of light
And thus saved an innocent soul.
Alice was the return of her soul.
Alice caused the break to the hope that was left,
And, thus, over Japan Alice spread the light.
However, Alice caused a reign of blood,
Brought forth by the greed of demons.
It became Alice's job to stop the pain.
As Alice gained friends who had all felt the pain
And, for many reasons, needed the soul.
Alice and the friends fought off the demons.
The group searched Japan until no square inch was left.
For the good of all, spilled freely was blood,
And, occasionally, some left the light.
Alice was, in this ancient time, the light
Sent to end the hanyou's great pain.
Even if she stole Alice's blood
So she, once again, could posses Alice's soul.
So she could drain Alice dry, leave nothing left
She gave all to him, the half demon.
He who let himself be devoured by demons.
It would be Alice who would use the light
To terminate the parts of him that were left
It was Alice would cause him pain
And to those he had taken from his soul,
To those, Alice would return the life blood.
Alice then left, leaving the hanyou in pain
So that the demons could be purged from the light
For the hanyou gave his blood to free the soul.
--This is a poem I had to do during class, if you can't figure it out (it's kinda confusing, I know) she/her is Kikyo. He/him is Naraku, and Alice is Kagome. Everything else should be pretty self explanatory. It's a sestina that doesn't really follow the syllable rules.
