There lived a girl, a very lonely girl.

She has no friends or family.

Was she abandoned?

Or was this merely her fate?

She trusted no one.

She has no one to trust.

One day, she stood in front of a mirror.

In the glass stood a young girl with a cold smile.

She stroked the reflection's face. It was cold, just like her.

She decided to befriend the girl behind the glass.

Whenever she smiles, the girl smiles with her.

Whenever she cries,

the girl in the mirror would cry with her,

sharing a portion of her pain,

the pain extracted from her loneliness.

One day, she asked the mirror

" Is it fun over there?"

There was no reply.

Instrad, the reflection simply gazed at her in confusion.

Everyday, the girl in the mirror looks more and more exhausted.

The girl of this world felt tired as well.

" Are you bored in there as well?" she asked.

The reflection gave her a slight nod.

"I am too..." she replied in a weak whisper.

She was bored of being bored. And she was tired of being tired.

Eventually, she was tired of being in this world.

"Today, I will live in your world instead" she declared.

The reflection gave her a tender smile.

She stripped off all her clothing, her jewelery.

All that was left of her were soul and flesh.

She threw herself into the mirror,

shattering the fragile glass.

Again and again, she attacked the mirror.

The pieces of broken glass pierced through her skin,

then her heart.

The pain then became obvious to her body,

then, she could no longer move.

She fell onto the floor.

Through the peaks of her closing eyes,

she sees the other world,

the world that she desired to enter.

It was empty.

She sees emptiness.

Now all that remained was her flesh. Her soul has ventured behind those broken pieces.

She is now emptiness.
