VW: Lenku Week! Yay! Anyway, I'm doing Prompt 2 of this day (True Love):
"Write a story about Miku and Len telling their kids how they met."
Well, in the end, I kinda mixed both prompts. (Please check out the Tumblr page to see Prompt 1.)
Another attempt!
"It started with a dare."
"Dude, go ask her out!" Rei Kagene said to Kaito Shion, patting him on the back. They were all staring at the girl with her teal hair in two thick braids as she talked to the girl with pink hair in a high ponytail next to her.
They were in the pub, and all night, Rei had been pushing Kaito to ask the girl out. Literally, he tried pushing him over to the girl.
"Look, Kaito, I say that we all dare you to ask her out before midnight." Gakupo Kamui dared, making Len Kagamine nod. Len had to say, Rei's pick was impressive. She looked about their age and had a decent body. Not to mention, great fashion sense. He couldn't say he wasn't hooked onto her.
"It was also a dare for me."
Miku Hatsune was just talking to her friend Luka Megurine but couldn't help but glance back at the blond sitting with a group of guys. He was handsome, looked tall, and alluring in general.
Luka nudged the tealette's arm, smirking. "I dare you to give Blondie your number." she said, making Miku turn red in the face.
"And so, she walked over to our table."
With the tips of her ears flaming and a pen in her hand, she carefully made her way to the table the blond sat at, looking back at the still-smirking Luka. She looked down at what she was wearing: heels, a racerback tee and short shorts. Enough to seduce a man.
Kaito looked up at her, face flaming, as Rei evilly grinned. Hastily, she took Len's hand and wrote her cellphone number down, making both their faces red. Rei pouted.
"I-I'm only doing this b-b-because my friend is daring me to!" she stammered, although they could see through the small lie she put in her sentence. She finished and fast-walked away. "Bye!"
"B-bye," Len called back, nearly fainting.
"And then I was forced to give details."
"Her name's Miku Hatsune. And her number is a secret for me, not for the weird ice cream pervert." Len said, protectively hugging his hand to his chest.
"I want her friend's number," Gakupo muttered, getting up, "and I'm gonna get it."
His friends started cheering him on to get Luka's number, meanwhile Len started putting Miku in his contacts in his phones. As he finished the tealette's phone number, a slap resounded throughout the pub.
"Go Google it!"
Len couldn't help but smile; he got Miku's number.
"And that's how we met."
"Aww, it must have been wonderful!" Ring Kagamine squealed, while her twin, Lui Kagamine, gagged.
"Too romantic!" he complained, and Len laughed.
"Hey, you'll meet a girl one day too." Miku told Lui, then kissed Len's cheek.
Such a happy family.
