Your Footsteps
I could hear your footsteps as you walked away
I tried my best to call out your name
You never turned around
you just left me here leaving behind no sound
I set there and cried but you never returned
Lost in the wood
Crying there all alone until someone came
Picked me up, dusted be off
Months pasted but they felt like years
And then I met him
My sun
He stayed right there beside me
Unlike you, he didn't walk away
But I still remember that day
Even from my dreams
Of the when I heard you footstep walking away
