A/N- Okay so, this is a Hamilton fanfic, where all the characters (except for the children and super minor characters are gathered up and given a glimpse of the future through the genius that is LMM and his amazing musical Hamilton. After their little soiree, the group is given the chance to correct history. Joining me as we watch our favorite founding fathers trying to rewrite the world that we know to be true.
Most of the first chapters will include lyrics from the original show itself as well as some find commentary from the characters themselves I hope you will enjoy this fanfic, and I hope you will read and review, I love constructive criticism and you would much like to hear your thoughts and reactions.
"My name is Lin Manuel-Miranda, I am from the year 2017 and I am the creator behind the Tony Award winning musical Hamilton. Why am I telling you all this? Well let's be frank, I've been sent back in time… crazy, right? I mean how could any of this be possible? Alas I digress, let me rewind a little bit…"
It was a normal sunny afternoon in the streets of New York, a block of Broadway and away from the Richard Rogers, to which I've called home for so long I could call it forever. But of course, it doesn't feel that way.
I am walking to work for the last time as Alexander Hamilton, our performance tonight was going to be recorded and god I hope I don't cry, but of course I will. So, I walk almost completely unnoticed by those on the street through the stage door and up to my dressing room which now laid bare of all the pictures, art work and fan notes that once littered the walls and embarrassingly the floor and ceiling too.
I sit down, water in my hand as I reminisce about the times ive shared with cast members new and old, the fans and their families coming to see the show and my lovely, caring and forgiving wife for all we've endured. I lean back, close my eyes and as the world falls away, I feel a jolt and my world goes black.
So I hope you enjoyed this short introduction to this story, please tell me your thoughts, id love to hear about how you think this is going to go and Id love to hear suggestions on how to make my writing more enjoyable.
