Guilt

This is my first Tin Man fic um I hope you enjoy it.
After coming out of the cave DG sat down on a rock she just got all her memories back and the horrible truth that one thing one small thing cause so much pain in the O.Z. If only she could listen to her sister if only she wouldn't of let go then everything would of been okay.
DG continued to sit there as everyone walked out of the cave they took one look at her and knew she needed some time alone except one man. The ex tin man sat under a tree near by and watched her he could see the pain written on her face she wanted to let it out he knew it but she wouldn't dare show any weakness not to any of them.
After a while Cain walked over and sat down next to her she didn't even move she was still stare out into the forest lost in her own world. At first he didn't know what to say he doubt she would listen anyway so came up with the only thing he could think of. He pulled her into an loving embrace. The shock of this cause the young princess to jerk and tears to fall down her cheeks.
At first she tired to pull away but he want going to have any of that so he held her tightly until she gave up.
He should hate they all should I caused their pain and suffering I did this he should hate me right?"DG thought
DG was trying not to cry but it was just to much to take in the who have been killed and so much darkness all her fault. her tear began to run freely now breaking out into sobs. And Wyatt sat there rocking her back and forth letting her get it all out of her system.
Soon the sobs lessen and the young princess was trying to collect her self.
I'm sorry...because of me..."
"No."
he looked down into her blue eyes.
"Don't blame yourself for that, that was Zero I'll deal with him later. "
"...You don't hate me?"
The ex tin man sighed. "No and neither does anyone else your our friend DG."
The raven haired princess just stayed in Cain's arms not ever want to leave not wanting to deal with whats ahead and all its trouble but as she laid there she began to think it over they been with her though thick and thin. They have been encouraging her along the way as she has been doing the same for them. But with all this she just...it was just too much right now to think about just to much to take in she needed to rest to clean her mind so she can move on to the next adventure.
As the ex tin man looked down he could see DG eyes began to close a bit she was fighting to keep them open with very little success shifting a bit Cain slowly moved under a tree with a half sleepy princess in his arms still trying to win the battle sleepiness. The sandman won and her eyes were closing she snuggled a bit in his arms as she moving into a deep sleep, And Cain just held her as small smile appeared on his face she she moved in his arms again.
"Mr Cain?"
"Yeah kid?"
"Thank you..."
"No problem Kid no problem at all."
