I ran as fast as I could. My lungs burned like fire.
Can't let them catch you. Run faster you idiot! RUN!
I turned a corner down an alley.
"You can't run forever!"
I felt my heart race faster at his voice, if that was even possible. After running for what seemed like eternity, but was probably only half an hour, I was tiring quickly now.
I tripped. I quickly tried to stand up, but it was to late. He already had a knife pinned to my throat.
"Come on, me and my boys just want a little bit of fun with you."
"Go to hell."
"Spunky are we? We'll fix that."
I hardened my glare.
Suddenly I saw something glint. I looked down to see him stab me with some clear liquid.
Fear overtook my body. Images of bright lights, medical masked faces, pain. So much pain.
I screamed.
"Seems like little miss spunky doesn't like needles." He said pulling the needle out of my arm.
Well done Viper, only three days worth of memories and this happens.
It was true. I only had three days worthy of memories.
I woke up on a park bench not knowing much. My name. My age. Other than these terrifying flashing images, I couldn't remember much else. I knew how to operate things. Facts about why the sky was blue, what foods tasted like, but I didn't remember how I learned these things.
I wandered around hiding from people as much as possible. I probably hadn't eaten more than a total of a 1,000 calories. I'll spare you the details of what I ate.
I of course was a stupid 14 year old girl and went wandering around an alley in New York at 2:00 a.m.
So that's how I ended up here.
My head started to get fuzzy.
Suddenly the man lifted the knife from my throat. With a yelp, he fell to the ground. I looked up to see a giant green turtle. He wore a red mask. In his hand he twirled a set of matching sias.
Raphael. How I suddenly knew his name was beyond me.
I saw three more turtles walk out from behind him before my head hit the ground and everything went black.
