The day Raimundo realized he was in love with his best friend was terrifying indeed. In fact, he distinctly remembers freaking out when he came to this revelation.

Raimundo realized this minor important fact when the two of them were going after a shen gong wu. They had been separated by the others and, while walking along the traitorous mountain path Raimundo tripped and fell off a cliff. If it had not been for Clay's skill with a lasso he most certainly would have fall to his death.

After being pulled to safety Raimundo had what he would call a rather gay thought, something along the lines of 'my hero.' Shortly following that thought he could not help but realize how pretty the other boys eyes were. Blue, the same shade as the sky that the Brazilian loved so much to fly in.

Moments later he came to a horrible realization: he was in love with Clay Bailey.

The weeks after Raimundo discovered his interest in his friend were not fun, for anyone. In fact, not only did he feel horrible, he managed to make all his friends miserable too.

Raimundo was downright unpleasant, not thinking before speaking, insulting everything and anything that got in his way. Especially to Clay. He figured that if he acted like he didn't like his crush, eventually he would stop having said crush.

"What's wrong with Rai?" Kimiko asked, looking from the sulky teenager to her other friends.
"I don't know Partner, I'll go ask" Clay replied in his accented voice. The cowboy walked over to Raimundo looking genuinely concerned. It was no secret to himself, or kimiko, who had caught him talking in his sleep, that he was in love with Raimundo Pedrosa.

"Whats wrong, Rai" Clay asked tenetivly, Raimundo had already yelled at him today.

Raimundo turned around, for a moment Clay would have sworn he saw Raimundo relax and almost smile, but then his face hardened up again. "My only problem is a whole bunch of nosy wannabe monks" he snapped harshly before storming off leaving the stunned monks behind him.

The day Clay found Raimundo out was the best day ever.

Raimundo was being his now regular offensive self and went a little too far. "At lease I'm not some bumbling cowboy trying to be a monk!!" He snapped after Omi pointed out that he should spend more time training and less thinking about surfing if he wanted to be leader. Kimiko and Omi gasped and Clay froze; instead of giving Raimundo the beat down he expected, his crush left without a word.

Kimiko then slapped the Brazilian, HARD. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH YOUR OPINION MEANS TO HIM!!! HE LOVES YOU FOR GODS SAKES" Upon saying that Kimiko slapped her hand to her mouth. "Oops… hehe"

To say Raimundo was shocked would be the understatement of the year. He turned and bolted after the cowboy, who was walking dejectedly toward the garden. "Clay!! Clay BAILEY WAIT UP!" He yelled. Clay stopped and turned and waited for the panting dragon of the wind to catch up.

"What do ya want, Rai?" He asked glumly.

"To say sorry" Raimundo said, stairing very hard and the innocent ground, a blush creeping onto his cheeks.

"Sorry is a little late, partner"

"I wasn't finished, and to say the only reason I was being such an ass was because I was scared" he said, his blush growing by the second.

"of what?"

Raimundo tentatively placed a hand on Clay's shoulder, and kissed him. He would have pulled back and bolted, but two strong arms kept him in place. "That you would kill me if I did that."

"Don't look like I'm about to does it?" Clay asked, kissing the shorter boy again.

"No, no it doesn't… and I really am sorry Clay…"

"I can think of a few ways for you to make it up to me"
