Today was a pretty normal day for me. Well if you skip most of my day it was.

This morning everything was normal, I got up brushed my hair and teeth, etc. I think you get the point.

I went to school and my biology teacher was standing there (earlier she had said she was going to take me on a field trip because I was a "special" student). I greeted her and prepared to go to wherever-on-earth we were going. Instead of being polite and saying "hi" or even just nodding would have been nice, but no. My teacher sits there and hisses. Hisses! Half of her body transforms into a freaking snake (her bottom half, duh). Instead of running away like any smart teenager would my instincts kick in and for some odd reason my body is going without my brain. I hold my hand up and shout "knives!" why would I do that? It doesn't even make any sense; whatsoever! My teacher recoils from me. Knives start shouting out of my hands and stab my teacher a few times until she turns into green smoke and disappears.

Finally my normal teenager instincts come and I bolt for the door, knives still shooting out of my hands, "please, stop" I say, my voice faltering. The knives stop and I run to my car. I get in my car and grip the steering wheel so hard my knuckles start to turn white.

I start driving blindly down the road when I see my friend Jake standing there at the side of the road. I look at him with shock, what the heck was he doing here, on the side of some road? I open my car door and say "Hey, Jake, umm, what the heck are you doing here?" he spits out a tin can and smiles, wait a tin can? What? "Um, can I please I have a ride, I have a lot to explain…" I stare at him, "yes, yes you do" and that's all I can say.

Jake takes a shaky breath and says "we have to leave Lily" I stare at him. My jaw drops. What? "Jake, you were just eating a tin can!" I reply trying to ignore that last statement. Jake nods solemnly and says "haven't you noticed? I do that when I'm worried… Lily, we have to go to camp" I put my head down and groan "no Jake, not you too!" He stares at me for a moment. "Who else?" Jake says quietly. "Dad" I groan.

Finally I arrive at Jake's forsaken camp. It's Greek. "I do not speak Greek Jake! You know that! Are you trying to mock my dyslexia?" I shout at him. He looks at me in disbelief like he is wondering how I could be so stupid. I look up at the sign on the entrance. Hmm, it's Greek too. It said "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood!" how did I understand Greek? Shrugging I walk into the camp's borders. A great pine is in the middle of the hill… weird…

When I get into the camp everyone is training for what looks like fighting… self defense camp…? I wonder walking through. A thing greets me. It is half-horse half-man, like, hmm, let me think… Harry Potter? Nope. Ooh! Yes! Greek mythology, maybe a little bit of Harry Potter too. It was a centaur… with… a… name tag? Oh, a name tag that said Chiron… okay?

After a while I am told my mother is a goddess, Greek stuff, blah, blah, blah and sent to a cabin. I'm in Cabin # 11 with Connor and Travis Stoll.

After a while everything is normal. I'm taking everything so lightly it scares me. I do everything like I have been doing it for years. I excel at it. I am pro. Oh, well, I forgot to put in that I have a new friend. This is good and bad… Well, her name is Annabeth, she's cool.

After a while I am claimed by my mother. She is the goddess of everything. No, I'm serious. She was a secret goddess. I have to go bang my head against a wall no because god, I am such a Mary-Sue.
