For the briefest moment she allowed herself to wonder.
What if?
What if she really admitted it?
What if she finally accepted the truth?
That Logan was simply the safe choice. The easy way out.
What if she agreed, if only in the darkest corner of her mind, that Alec was more than she'd thought, that maybe he was the one?
Because now she just couldn't see him the same way.
"Check out those knockers, Sketch, my man!" Alec elbowed his friend as the latest Jam Pony recruit walked past.
Max sighed exasperatedly.
