One of my first NejiTen fanfiction. I think it's really sweet. It took at least a half hour - 45 minutes of my life. Please read and review and be critical but nice! Kay? I hope you enjoy!

The burning and ruins of buildings went by in blur. TenTen adjusted the placement of her Anbu mask as Neji and she scoured the city for any survivors. Another hostile takeover was befalling Konoha. She could hardly stand the sight of dead people. It was torturing her zipping past them trying not to care.

"Do you see any one?" she said stopping to over at Neji.

"No. I don't see survivors nor the enemy. We have to keep moving though." He said urging her

along. They moved through the practically destroyed village. They finally stopped in a large square.

"We've been around Konoha and yet we've seen no one alive. Do you think the enemy could be planning to ambush us?" said Tenten suddenly feeling paranoid.

"No, I would've spotted them with my Byakugan-

Neji sputtered as a kunai hit him in the neck.

"NEJI!" screamed Tenten rushing over to him. Two enemy ninja hopped off a nearby building.

"So this is the Hyuga prodigy?" said one.

"Doesn't look so smart to me." Said the other.

"You'll pay." Said TenTen removing the scroll from her back. She ran her thumb against it and thousands of weapons pierced them. Once they were dead she took off her mask and returned to the badly bleeding Neji. "Neji are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine." He said trying to get up but quickly slumping back onto the ground. She looked at the kunai piercing his neck. It was in deep. Should I take it out? She thought. She tugged at it and yanked it out. The blood poured out even faster. She tried to cover it with her hands. What should I do? It's flowing even faster now Tears flowed from her eyes. A Trembling hand wiped the tears away.

"A shinobi shouldn't show her emotions." He said.

"Ouch!" yelled a smaller Tenten as she fell to the ground in pursuit of Neji. He turned around and looked at her.

"Your knee, its bleeding." He said crouching down beside her to look at it. Tenten started to cry. "Hey," he said, "A shinobi shouldn't snow her emotions."

"But I'm not a shinobi! I'm still in the academy and so are you." She said gripping her knee. He remembered what his father had done when he had fallen and scraped himself. Her removed her hands from the wound and leaned in and kissed it. She looked at him and a blush crept across her face. He came back up feeling quite stupid but he saw that it worked. He got up and ran.

"You still haven't caught me!" he yelled.

"But I will!" said Tenten getting up the pain gone.

She snapped back to reality. She leaned in and kissed the flesh which the kunai had struck. "Does it feel better?" she asked. "Yes, it does." He said sitting up. Tenten took her scroll and wrapped it around his neck to stop the bleeding. She was relieved he was alive.
