Memories.
That's all she had.
Memories and hope.
Her feelings of love had been buried. Instead, rage and rebellion filled her body.
Every day she took her spot on the ridge, staring at the ruins of Shuggazoom City.
Every day, for ten years, she had come here.
Every day, hoping and praying to see him come over the ruins of the destroyed Super Robot, smiling with grin of his, saying that everything was alright now.
And every day she went back down into the underground city, her hope once again shattered, her happiness faded.
Some of her new acquaintances would ask her if she was alright, if she had hurt herself while she was topside.
Every day she gave the same answer.
"I'm a robot. I don't get hurt."
Every day she would lock her door and sit holding the necklace her loved one had given her, just hours before the War really began.
Every day she would turn out the light, swearing that tomorrow would be the last time she would go topside for him.
Every day she broke that promise.
And every day her rage would grow.
One day, she would find him again. Even if she had to tear down his castle to do it.
Every day she was one step closer. One less step away from finding him again. One last time.
Every day she would renew her vow, that she would find him, no matter what.
There was nothing on this planet that would stop her.
And when that day comes, not even her boyfriend's kidnapper would ever stop her.

A/N: Just a little note.
This little piece of work, Wishful Dreams, and Sealed Fates are part of the plot for my Role Play site on ProBoards, called The Shuggazoom Knights.
Wishful Dreams and this, Every Day Memories, are two teasers for a plot that will begin on Monday, August 20, 2007 They contain little bits of information about what I'm planning. It is not too late to sign up and take part in this event.
And to those that are already signed up (the four of you), Sealed Fates, Wishful Dreams, and Every Day Memories are canon to the forum. Ignore my little five paragraph thing, as that was written two months before the forum came into existence, when it was just going to be a one-shot. It should me mostly updated now.
