Title: Summer Time
Summary: Kaitou Kid is so good at stealing things, he is able to steal time itself. Or so he claims. Conan doesn't have time for this.
A/N: Stupid plot bunny is stupid. I'm procrastinating on the sequel I promised to write. -_-' It will be there by White Day, I promise. A day late, but whatever. Stealing my extra hour of sleep. I needed that!
"Muwahahaha! Now you'll never be able to stop me!"
Conan facepalmed himself. "You cannot be serious."
Kid continued to cackle. "But I am, Tantei-kun! I have stolen from the world, and there's nothing that anyone can do to stop me!"
The child detective gave a look, and after a few moments just shrugged. He supposed he could just humor the thief for now. Conan readied his wristwatch and took aim. He narrowed his eyes as he calculated the distance and waited for the perfect moment to strike. When he saw it, he taunted, "Wanna bet?" He pushed a button and released a needle.
Kid saw it coming and quickly dodged, steadying himself on the pole and the box in his other hand. "Not even you can stop me, Tantei-kun! Muwahaha!"
Conan sighed, placing his hand to his face again. "Stop with the evil laughing. It does not suit you."
The thief pouted. "Come on, I don't do it often."
Conan rolled his eyes. "Fine." And Kid continued to laugh evilly as he could.
After a while, Conan just decided to walk away. He turned from the thief and made his way down the ladder.
"Hey! Hey, hey, hay." Kid hopped off his pedestal and made his way over to his childish rival, who stopped when he saw the magician's shadow. "Don't just leave!" The thief exclaimed.
Conan rolled his eyes. "We done here or what?" He checked his watch, for the time this time. "What you've stolen will return in a few months. I suppose the rest of the world will have to do without it until then." He held out his hand, and caught the light, empty box that Kid tossed him.
Kid sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as high as his disguise would let him. "Well, I thought it was funny. Seriously, why do you have to be so serious all the time?"
"Dragging me out to meet you at three in the morning is not funny. Neither is stealing the ideas of George Vernon Hudson. Besides, we don't even follow it. Perhaps we did for a few years, but only because of the United States. Well, it might come back, not so sure about that. They're working on it. I could go into the specifics, but I'm tired and want to sleep." Conan stifled a yawn. "I'm leaving. Have fun with your extra time. Even though it's not followed in Japan."
Kid sighed, frowning. "You're no fun, Tantei-kun."
