Title: Awkward

Summary: Jeff, his daughter, condoms, sex…awkward much?

"Audrey we need to talk." Jeff barged into his daughter's room.

She turned around in her computer chair, and looked up at her dad. Green eyes met green. "Yeah dad?"

Jeff sat down on his daughter's bed, and she stayed where she was on her computer chair. He pulled something out of his pocket, and lifted up his hand. His fingers holding it up in plain sight.

Audrey's eyes widened suddenly.

"This is a condom…"

"And this is me leaving the room." She stood up and was about to make it to the door when Jeff said, "Audrey, sit back down."

Audrey stopped and then made a one eighty turn heading back to her computer chair.

She blinked.

"So, like I said…this is a condom."

"I know what a condom is dad."

"What the fuck!? You do?"

"No!" she said quickly, seeing the vein in his forehead popup slightly. "I don't…and um, I never will, I never seen one and um… I'll never use one…" Audrey let out a small gasp, regretting her words. "I mean I will! I will use one!"

"You better not ever think about doing anything that is related to a condom!" Jeff stood up off the bed, and looking at his daughter with 'the look'.

"I won't, dad. No sex until…" she was going to say marriage, but the look her dad gave her told her she'd never even get to marry a boy. "Never."

"Who said anything about sex? I never mentioned sex." He was becoming paranoid.

Audrey gave a worried glance around the room. "I know you didn-" she was cut off.

"You're grounded!"

"What?" Her eye's widened. "Why?"

"Because you thought about sex. You're like 2."

"I'm 16 and I never thought about sex."

"You just said sex, so therefore, you thought about it." He pointed out.

"No I didn't."

"Didn't I tell you to think before you speak? So therefore you did."

"Oh…in that case I'm oh so sorry." She replied sarcastically, folding her hands over her chest.

"I'm doing this to protect you." Jeff walked to the door and she turned her computer chair back around to face the computer screen.

Audrey didn't say anything, but heard her father leave the room. When she didn't hear the door shut, she turned back around. Her mom was standing there laughing.

"I'm not really grounded am I?"

"No," her mom, Chantel, spoke. "But, just to make your father happy, stay in tonight."

"Didn't have plans anyways. Where did dad go?"

"Into Elise's room." Elise was only 12 years old.

"MOMMMMMMM!" The two heard the twelve year old scream. Chantel rolled her eyes before making her way to her youngest daughter's room, already knowing why the child was screaming.

A/n: Not really that good in my opinion, I wanted to make it better, but it's blah. If you read my fics, I have a poll on my profile page about whether I should post the next chapter to Sixteen Candles, which is already written and ready to be posted (but it's the hiatus thing that's stopping me.), you can choose if I should post it or not. Thanks for reading, review! – Tiffany
