A/N: A dream I had last night. Had to type it up. No clue how it came out. Gakuen AU.
"Oh Gods oh Gods oh Gods…" I chanted, unwillingly walking towards the form room. Yesterday, Roderich'd told me he liked me and he wanted to get together. Well, great, right? Um, no. Because before Gilbert had told me he liked me and that he wanted to get together. So I promised both I'd think about it, and give them the answer tomorrow. Well, I'd pretty damn obviously chosen Roderich, but now I was going to have to tell Gilbert I was going out with someone else. Fucked up, right?
I opened the door, and froze. How could I have possibly not have heard the yelling from outside already? Locked in a firm grip, Roderich was pinning Gilbert down on the floor, one glaring at the other. "She. Is. MINE. Understood?" He hissed, narrowing his eyes. Gilbert suddenly rolled them around, positions reversed. "I asked her first. SHE'S MINE." He growled threateningly, and they started tussling again, throwing random punches at each other. No one had barely noticed I was even there. Everyone had their eyes locked on the fight, and to my exasperation I noticed not even the teacher had any clue how to deal with this. Reaching behind me for the door, I grabbed the handle and opened the door again, before purposefully slamming it back closed with all my strength, creating a very loud bang. Fifteen heads whipped around to face me, ranging from panicked to terrified to guilty. "Everybody. STOP." I ordered glacially, letting my books drop onto a table without even taking my eyes off of the pair frozen in motion on the ground. Flitting my eyes across the crowd, my lips twisted downwards. "Nobody thought of stopping this, did they? It was all too amusing to watch them beat the crap out of each other for my sake, right? You too." I snapped at the teacher when I saw him look disapprovingly at his students. "And both of you. Out. NOW." I hissed coldly, flicking my hand at them before turning around and storming out. The two glanced at each other, flashing that "Oh SHIT" look between them, before Roderich gingerly got off of Gilbert and they filed out behind me.
Silently taking them outside (Nobody was there anyways), as soon as I was out of anyone's hearing shot I rounded on them, furious. "WHAT DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?" I screamed at them, irate. The two looked down, embarrassed. "I CARE ABOUT YOU BOTH TOO MUCH TO JUST WATCH YOU REDUCE EACH OTHER TO… TO THIS!" I continued, gesturing at them and at their many bruises and wounds. "HOW CAN I EVEN POSSIBLY CONSIDER CHOOSING ONE OVER THE OTHER IF YOU ACT LIKE THIS? WHAT WILL THE OTHER DO? KILL THEM IN THEIR SLEEP?" I yelled, and unwillingly tears started burning in my eyes. Without thinking, Roderich pulled me against him, embracing me and shushing me softly as I sobbed. A spark of jealousy lit up in Gilbert's eyes, and he discreetly shoved Roderich away to try and comfort me himself. I broke away, angry once again. "SEE? SEE? THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! EVEN NOW, EVEN IF YOU'RE TRYING TO HIDE IT, YOU'RE STILL FIGHTING OVER ME!" I cried, overwhelmed. "I don't think I should pick any one of you…" I murmured, heart-broken, as I pushed my way between them and walked away.
