Watching from the flipside

dreaming in a daze

but nothing is clearer

than her in my gaze

For years to come

she's not real, I know

But seeing her in daylight

still asking "Where'd she go?"

My, oh my

dear twisted fantasies

But reality's different

wish it was her here with me

Take me, beat me

burn us sweet misery

Scorn who we are

But in sleep let me be

In slumber we met,

at midnight she's peace,

To only be with her

she's my only release

And my only wish,

is before I die,

I look to see her with my eyes.
