Kizmet - Thanks for that! I haven't watched [H]ouse in about 6 months so thanks alot! I knew that House and Stacey almost slept together but i couldn't remember if she was still with Mark or not.
A little bit of the argument that could of happened if House didn't treat Mark
A/N What if Greg House didn't save Stacey's new husband?? A little oneshot I made up while watching The Honeymoon the other day.
"GREG!!" Stacey yelled "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU LET MARK DIE! YOU...BASTARD!"
"Now why would I do that? To even try to get back with you? Know why would I try to do that? Your, sorry were, perfectly happy with Mark. He was a ticking time bomb with a brain tumour!"
"WITH A CURABLE DISEASE!"
"Do you wanna yell a bit louder there's a deaf old woman in Africa that didn't hear that. No it wasn't a curable disease it was treatable there's a difference! Curable means that you can remove the problem completely while treatable means it stays under control! See big difference."
"ARGH! I don't care! You could of made it so that I had longer with him!" At this point Stacey's voice had become a menacing whisper. Much scarier if House did say so which, of course, he did.
"Did you know that you're kinda scary when you whisper like that? Hot as well…" The minute that left his mouth House felt a hand pressing against his cheek, when it left there was a Staceys-hand shaped bruise forming already.
"that was a rather nasty hit you know" House half muttered and half told her
"Be lucky I didn't take your cane as well"
With that said Stacey turned on her heel and stalked down the corridor with a look of rage on her face, House however was staring after her, hugging his cane to him.
