Title: Beautiful but Mysterious-538
Will snuck out of the Slytherin Common Room and made his way upstairs. As he opened the door to the Astronomy Tower balcony, he looked around. He was happy that it was not occupied by any couples looking for a romantic night.
Will walked over to the edge of the balcony, looking up at the stars; before he could fully enjoy it he heard a big sigh. He turned around to find Luna Lovegood.
He watched as Luna stepped out the shadows, her silver-blonde hair and big silver eyes sparkling in the moonlight. He didn't know Luna personally but everyone in Slytherin loved to make fun of her, 'Loony Lovegood' was what they called her.
"What are you doing here?" Her dreamy voice drifted to Will.
"Looking at the stars. I love looking at them; it's always been one of my favorite pastimes. My mum and I use to watch them every night…"
"Why did you stop? You sound like you enjoyed it."
"Not long after I got my Hogwarts letter, she got sick…." He whispered as he looked off at the stars again.
"I'm sorry, my mum is gone also. She died while working on potions which were one of her favorite pastimes."
Will had heard her but didn't respond, he kept looking off in the distance. Luna walked over to Will, and stood next to him. He was leaning on the balcony wall, with his hands sitting there on the edge. Luna put her pale hand on his tan one causing him to look up.
Will looked into Luna's beautiful silver eyes which reminded him of the moon. The pair watched the stars till they were no more, and pink started streaking into the sky.
They quickly but regretfully bid their goodbyes, and headed off to get ready for the day ahead.
Will was sitting at the Slytherin table, for breakfast, he had toast on his plate that he had not touched. He noticed his two best friends Tina and Sarah sit across from him. They were talking in hushed tones about something. If Will had being paying attention he would have guessed that the topic was Draco, whom both had a crush on.
After about five minutes Tina looked up, "Will why aren't you eating?"
"Not hungry," he replied not even looking at his redhead best friend.
"Not hungry?" They both exclaimed together.
"Are you ok?" Sarah instantly asked.
"Do you feel sick?" Tina asked.
Will didn't look at either one, but shook his head as an answer to both of their questions. Tina followed his vision direction to find him looking at the Ravenclaw table. But as she followed it again, she noticed it was the table but a certain Luna Lovegood.
Tina nudged Sarah and pointed to what Will was looking at. Luna must have felt eyes on her, for she looked up to find three sets of eyes on her, two brown and one blue. Luna smiled at the three Slytherins, well more like at Will and went back to eating. Tina and Sarah looked back at Will, who was wearing a goofy grin.
Answering the question that both girls had in their minds, he said vaguely, "She's beautiful but mysterious."
