They don't understand. They will never understand. They don't know what it's like, to constantly fear for yourself and your friends life's. ALL THE TIME! Every second of every day. They don't know what it's like to fight in a war; to see friends and family die. To see friends become strangers and family the enemy. To make sacrifices for the "greater good." To them…we are just legends; an unachievable level of greatness, bravery, sorrow. The list goes on and on. To them, we're just a story, a far off fairytale. People who aren't really viewed as mere people, who didn't live very real lives. Who didn't worry about exams and house points and laugh and pull pranks and get detention and fear Snape. They were simply heroes who's sole purpose in life was to defend the "Greater Good." Surely we were never kids. Surely we were never scared. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. The golden trio. Of course, the only ones worse than most of the wizarding world who made them an emblem instead of people, were the ones who simply didn't care about our loss. Or maybe it was the ones who laughed and stated that they could beat whatever we faced with much more ease. Both groups were bad. The first, didn't care what we went through, didn't want to hear of our losses. It didn't pertain to them. they were free, without any maniacs to worry about. No Deatheater teachers or ministry workers torturing them. no sir. So why should they care about something that happened what may as well been eons ago? To them, we weren't real people. And as for the second group; I'd like to see them face at least one of the things we did and not be scared. They need to learn of our sacrifices as real people. They need to know that we existed. Not the "Golden Trio", but simply Ron, Hermione, and Harry. That's why, when I found this time turner I didn't show them. they need to know the truth. I hope I can change them.
