Oh wow! Lookie! An Aragorn/Legolas ficcie!
Yay!
I hope you like!
A/N: I was watching LOR last night and I got kinda sappy when Boromir died so here is my version of the pain Legolas and Aragorn share.
Warnings: Legolas/Aragorn
POV: Legolas
This is when the Urah-Kai attacked them and stole Merry and Pippin.

I ran as swiftly as my Elvin feet could carry me. I had to get to Aragorn. I pushed my way through many orcs, killing them as I went. All that mattered was that I find Aragorn and make sure he was okay. When arrived, though, it wasn't at all I had expected.
Aragorn was lying over a fallen Boromir. My eyes portrayed my sorrow as I stepped closer, but at the same time kept my distance, I felt as though Aragorn would not have liked me intruding on this moment.
"I would have followed you…my brother…my captain…my king." I hear Boromir's voice. Gimili approached behind me and I heard his sigh of sorrow.
"Be free, son of Gondor." Aragorn whispered. He leaned over and kissed Boromir goodbye and stood up.
Hesitantly I walked over and placed my hand on his shoulder. He turned slightly and I saw the tears that were falling. Without a care in the world but the two of us I dropped my bow and wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled him closer to me and held him. His arms encircled my waist as his tears stained my clothes.
"Shhhhh." I told him. I ran my fingers through his hand and down his neck in reassurance. "It's okay." I spoke my native tongue as to not let Gimili hear. "We all have our own fates. Boromir chose his, and he fought bravely." Aragorn rubbed his hands on my back.
"I feel guilty." He told me. I pulled him even tighter against me.
"Why?" I asked softly.
"Because," he pulled his head back so that I could look into his beautiful eyes, "I am glad it's not you." He smiled weakly. My mouth dropped slightly in awe. My emotions turned though and I gave him a smile.
Silently he leaned his head foreword and his soft lips connected with mine. We stood there for long moments without a care in the world. Then, we slowly pulled apart and I took his hand in mine.
"Come." I told him. I gave him a quick kiss and then we headed for the shore with Gimili hot on our tails.
Who cared what the world thought? Screw Mordor. All I need to be happy was him.

Well? Short and Sweet eh?!?
