What Hot Coco Can Cause

Olette's POV

"Want some hot coco?"

"Um I've never had it before?" Roxas stated, "Does it have chocolate in it?" he asked, rather hopeful.

It took me a moment to wrap my mind around that first part. I gaped at him. How could someone never have had hot coco?!

I handed the blonde my cup full o' chocolately goodness. "Here Roxas," he took it as soon as the smell of warm coco hit him. "I can't believe you've never tried hot coco before!"

"You must've been deprived as a child," Hayner remarked.

"Hehe…" our newest friend smiled sheepishly," Well, I think I used to live on an island and-"

"You think? Shouldn't you know where you used to live?" Hayner sneered, how rude. Couldn't he ever just shut up when somebody else had the floor? I glared.

Pence ignored Hayner. "Go on," he urged Roxas.

"Anyway, the island I used to live on was kind of… cut off from society."

"Bummer," Pence commented.

"Didn't it ever snow there?" I asked.

He made a satisfied noise after finally taking a drink from the cup I handed him. "This is good," he muttered. "No, it never snowed there. Can't wait 'till I see the snow for the first time this winter," he smiled thoughtfully.

Pence groaned suddenly, looking at his watch. "Man! It's nearly curfew," sighing, he got up and pulled on his jacket. "Sorry guys, I gotta go, mom's gonna kill me if I'm late again. You coming Olette?" he asked, heading for the door.

"I'll catch up, I just need to go get my stuff first," I shouted, heading out of the living room and into the kitchen.

I heard Roxas say he had to get going too, and then the front door closing soon after.

When I came back into the living room, Hayner was blocking the door.

"Move Hayner, I need to get home," I said, giving him an irritated look.

"Why'd you give him your cup?" Hayner asked, sounding just as irritated, but in a different way.

My eyes widened for a moment, is that jealousy?! Oh c'mon! All I did was give the guy my cup… "It's just a cup. Sheesh Hayner! Lots of people share cups," I say.

He's not reassured.

I sigh, Hayner's always so difficult. "I wasn't flirting, if that's what you thought. I already have a wonderful boyfriend thank you very much."

His eyes widened, and then he balled up his fists. God, looks like he's about to kill somebody. "Who is it?" he says quietly.

I roll my eyes, such anger issues! I lean forward, pecking him on the lips. "You silly! Now Hayner, if you would please move, I really need to get home now."
