He wasn't listening anymore, but there wasn't any need to. He knew what she was going to say and he damn well didn't want to hear it. He spun around so fast that is was even impossible for the experienced dagger-handler to process, his childish defensiveness not coming as a surprise.
"Yeah, then what does it mean when you go to see my psychopathic sister, alone? What are you two planning?," he fumed, energy crackling between his fingers as he tried to hold in his anger, flames threatening to erupt down his arms in a matter of seconds if she didn't cool him off.
"A marriage proposal, you jerk."
