The digi-destined were having a party and it was in full swing, with music, refreshments, and all the other usual party stuff. Davis sat watching as groups of American Digi-destined talked, and played Spin the Bottle, and Truth or Dare. "Idiots", Davis mumbled to himself. He didn't want to be here, but Yolei wanted to, so he came along. A group of people had started a game of Twister, right next to where he was sitting. He grinned, to many people were playing at a time and were constantly falling over. It was hotter than hell, so Davis decided to get a another drink. When he came back he was surprised to see TK, Kari, And Yolei had joined the game of Twister. He watched the game for awhile, and was surprised how jealous it made him when named Willis put his hand on Yolei's and smiled at her.
When Yolei lost her balance she got up and walked over to where Davis was sitting,"Come on, don't you want to play?"she asked with a smile. "No I don't" he answered. "Please!" She begged. Davis looked at her for a moment,"Ok one game" he replied
This isn't to bad, Davis thought, enjoying the fact that he got to be so close to Yolei, until he lost his balance and fell on top of her. Davis stood up as fast as he could, his face bright red. "I knew it, you want her," Willis said. "You shut up!" Davis yelled. "Yeah," Yolei agreed "Everyone knows that me and Davis are just friends."
Davis couldn't believe what she had just said, but at least he knew how she felt about him. He headed for the door."Where are you going?" Willis asked. Davis slammed him against the wall in answer, and went outside.
Great, Davis thought, I'm in love with someone who just wants to be my damn friend. He kicked a rock angrily. A few minutes later Yolei came out to talk to him. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Nothing," Davis answered staring at the ground. "Davis, when I told Willis that you and I were just friends, do you think I was lying?" "No I don't" he said quietly. Yolei stared into his eyes, and then kissed him softly. "I did" she said , and with that she went back inside. Davis stood, his mind unable to comprehend what had just happened. When it finally sunk he smiled, and headed back towards the party, this time he was ready for another game of Twister.
