Hey guys just another random story that went through my head.
Ash stared at the roof of his room, like many times before. Once again he had lost another league, this one being the one in in Unova. He had battled hard, beaten Trip, but in the end still lost.
'What am i doing wrong, why am i so… so… weak' he thought.
Trip didn't help after the league was over either. He could still remember the words they exchanged as they met exiting the closing ceremonies.
(FLASHBACK TO UNOVA LEAGUE STADIUM)
"Well well" Trip said with a smirk "Someone lost"
"Ha ha Trip" Ash said sarcastically " at least i beat you"
"True. But at least this is my first league, what about you? This is what your like 8th league?" mocked trip with a sneer "heck I even beat Pikachu on the first day as a trainer"
This was a low blow to Ash. Truly it wasn't that bad for someone his age, even if he lost but this hit hard. The memories of all of his losses all came back into his mind, vividly remembering all of them. Ash took one last look at Trip, and without saying a word turned around and left.
"Yea thats what i thought Ash!" Trip yelled as he walked away "You're weak and always have been!"
When Ash made his way back to Cilan and Iris, the two saw the boys downtrodden face. The sad part was, nothing cheered him up. Even Pikachu couldn't bring a smile to his friends face.
Soon Ash departed from Unova saying goodbye to Cilan and Iris, and before he knew it he was in Pallet Town. Many people gave him praise, telling him how proud they were. Ash just kept on walking, ignoring everyone's peering eyes.
'They are lying, ALL of them. Each one thinks I'm weak, every single one of them'
Ash arrived home, and was greeted as always by his excited mother. Ash accepted the hug weakly, gave a fake smile, and silently went to his room, with Pikachu in tow.
His mother was shocked, he was almost as sad as his first league, but this time there weren't any friends to help him get through it. She knew he didn't want to be bothered anyways, so she left him alone.
Later that night, Ash quietly came out of his room and walked down the stairs. He made his way to the door and opened it, starting to walk out.
"Ash, where are you going?"
His mom was watching a tv show in their living room, and hear the door open.
"For a walk mom, just a walk" Ash said plainly.
"Ok don't be out too late, it's already dark."
With that Ash closed the door walking into the cool, quiet, inky darkness. He traveled into the forest. Usually he would be terrified of the thick darkness, but he was too engrossed in thought to notice.
He walked for what felt like miles, time passing by without notice. Then out of nowhere Ash stopped. A dark presence could literally be felt near him. Now a slight amount of fear was building up inside him. He had left all his pokemon at the house!
'Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!' He thought.
Then a dark voice could be heard
"Hello Ash"
It sounded as is the darkness itself talked, the sound resonated from all around.
"Who are you and what do you want!"
"It is not what I want, but more of what i can do to help you." The voice said. "As for who I am you may call me Void"
"Now tell me Ash, what do you most desire?"
Without a moments hesitation Ash replied "To be the best Pokemon master the world has ever seen!"
"I can make you stronger Ash" said Void " All you need is my help and you WILL be the best trainer the world has EVER seen."
Ash looked forward with fire in his eyes.
"When do we start?"
"Now" said Void with a smile.
There was a flurry of dark tendrils, a purple flash, and no one was there. Ash Ketchum was gone.
