S.W.A.T. REACTIONS
Sanchez walked into her daughter's school day care center, kids were running around like a bunch of monkeys. She made her way around them, still in her police uniform she made her way to the front desk. "Mommy!" Eliza shouted running over.
"Hey baby, you have fun today?" Sanchez asked.
"Yeah."
"Go get your stuff."
"Okay." Chris turned towards the desk to sign Eliza out.
"I'm here to pick up Eliza."
"Okay," the receptionist said. "Ms. Sanchez, can you sign here?"
"Sure, here you go."
"We'll see you tomorrow Eliza."
"Bye," Eliza said as she and her mother walked out the door.
--After Dinner-
"Eliza, baby, mommy needs to talk to you," Chris said.
Eliza walked over to her mother, the last time her mother used those words was when she told her she was joining the Los Angeles police force. She sat next to her mother, she watched as her mother searched for just the right words to break it to her. Her mother always tried to break things easily to her. "What?" Eliza asked, trying to pry the words out of her mother.
"Eliza, you remember all those times I would try out for S.W.A.T., and I wouldn't make it?" Chris said, hoping the words would come out easier.
"Yeah, that was all you would talk about for two weeks."
"Well, hypothetically speaking, how would you feel if I joined S.W.A.T.?"
"I'd be so happy mommy, and very proud for you."
"Well, I'm almost there."
"Really?"
"Yeah, just found out."
Eliza gave her mother a hug. "I'm so proud of you mommy!"
"Thanks baby."
"We gonna celebrate?"
"As soon as I pass the test."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"Cool, my mommy's on S.W.A.T.!" Eliza shouted as she danced around the room over and over again.
Author's Note: This is my second fic, you know what to do. Read and review. Peace.
