Help In The Moonlight
The night hours had always put and kept the kingdom of Hyrule at peace. The moonlight would reflect off the water fountain to make the flowing liquid look more like a crystal.
All the shop and house lights were off; humans and animals had gone home, everything and everyone was quiet…with the exception of two Hylians in one particular room.
A blonde haired man with piercing blue eyes and a brown haired woman with cold blue eyes.
The Hero and the Princess of Hyrule.
The two Hylians resided in a castle guest room where the Princess dips a rag in a large bowl of lukewarm water and after getting rid of the excess water, walks over to the figure resting on the large bed in front of her.
"This might sting a little bit, are you ready?"
The Hero nodded and showed the Princess his bare chest revealing a large bruise that he had received a few hours earlier.
Gently placing it on his chest, the Princess felt herself wanting to cry once she saw him painfully flinch and release a frustrated grunt.
She could only imagine the pain he felt when the iron boot came into contact with his chest and immediately slammed into the golden barrier afterwards.
"I'm sorry Link, but I promise this will bring down the swelling and help with the pain."
"Thank you Zelda…" Link whispered between painful breaths while at the same time taking one of her hands and bringing it to his lips.
Taken back by his action, Zelda smiles and strokes his face. "Do not thank me; it is you who deserves to be thanked. After what you just went through, it's the least I could do for you."

After a few hours of guarded rest and a light gauze wrap, Link had insisted several times to leave, but the Princess eventually managed to convince him to stay until the next day or at least a few more days.
Zelda quietly prayed that Link would choose to stay for a few more days because she had a couple of things to tell him.
She was going to give him a very special offer and that…
She had fallen in love with him…
