A/N: One-shot prompt here. Didn't exactly turn out as expected, at all, nevertheless, here it is. Very short but hopefully still...entertaining?

Prompt: Tori and Jade get into a bad fight over Jade's jealousy and possessiveness whenever Tori talks to someone. They almost break up, but of course don't because Jori 4 life.

Jade was once again fuming, watching from afar as Tori chatted with the new guy on set. Of course she knew about her overly friendly nature but she didn't like it. This guy was too touchy-feely for Jade's liking.

Back out in the parking lot Jade was waiting by her car for Tori, as she was held back a few minutes longer. Of course, when she saw Tori, she had to be talking with that new guy again.

She decided to let it go until they got back to the apartment. Once the door closed, she snapped.

"Okay, what the hell is up with that new kid?"

"Who? Andrew?" Tori said as if it was no big deal.

"I don't know what the hell his name is. I just want to know why he's got his hands all over my girlfriend!"

"He didn't have his hands all over me. We're just friends. There's nothing you need to worry about," she replied a little too calmly.

Jade took a deep breath to compose herself. "I don't want to see this kid touching you so much anymore."

"Who are you to say who can and can't touch me? You don't own me! You seem to forget that an awful lot." Tori said defiantly.

"You're right. You never were mine," Jade muttered as she walked out the door, slamming it behind her.

Tears burned at the corners of her eyes, threatening to fall at any moment as she sat down on her favorite park bench down the street. She had worked so hard to make Tori hers; she couldn't help but be over protective over what she loved so much. And when she saw how easily other people got Tori to like them, it was just a painful reminder of what could have been.

She knew she'd made a lot of mistakes over the years; finally letting Tori in was not one of them, despite the inevitable pain she knew it would cause. They weren't compatible, but they were for that exact reason as well. Opposites that make a whole, but also opposites that refuse to mix.

She thought back to the times when they would compare themselves to the superheroes and villains in movies, then fight over which one was actually doing the right thing. Whether the good cop or the bad cop was more effective, or whether Coke or Pepsi was better.

It's those silly, pointless rivalries, the opposites that can't live without each other that make up this world. Sure, they clashed at every turn and fought about every little thing. But what is life without those opposites? World peace? Would it actually be nice to not see everyone raging over which carbonated beverage was the most appealing, or which gaming system was better? Maybe so, but it just wouldn't be the same.

Pepsi needs Coke just for the sake of saying, "I'm better than you!" The superheroes need the villains so they're not just overly-dramatic guys running around in tights. PS3 needs XBOX as much as XBOX needs PS3, 'cause see, they're actually friends, and they don't like it when people diss the other one.

All in all, Jade knew she needed Tori, but the question was, did Tori need her?

Jade slowly made her way back to the apartment, upon arrival, she saw no sign of Tori. She went back to their bedroom down the hall and saw her laying in bed, facing the wall. As Jade climbed into bed with her Tori turned around to hug her tight.

"Please don't leave again," Tori said quietly.

"I won't."
