AN: Hey guys, it's been a while, but I thought I'd try and get back into the hang of writing, so here's something that's a lot shorter to give it a try. Sorry about vanishing, but I'll probably be around to update more since everything is settled down. The story behind this is kind of interesting because some friends and I played a game of questions and each paragraph is based either on a response or a memory from a question that was asked to somebody else. Also I do not own TT, this is just a hobby.

It was cold as the rain fell onto Raven's face. She and Jinx had been out on a walk when the surprise shower had popped up. At first the gentle rain proved to cut the heat from the day, but as it progressively rained harder it became a calming moment. They laughed as they walked though the steady downpour, not caring if they were getting wet. The proximity of the two girls and the laughter that came with it was enough heat to keep the two warm not only from the elements, but from the inside as well.

"It was cold." Raven stated simply after Jinx asked her why she had gotten up to turn the heat up. Jinx didn't see why Raven couldn't have just gotten under the blanket on the couch with her and let her warm Raven up if she was so cold. Raven smiled at Jinx as if she didn't know what the other girl was thinking and made her way over to the couch. Kissing her girlfriend gently she got under the blanket with her and prepared to start the movie they had been wanting to watch for a while. Jinx smiled at Raven, and both of the girls settled in for a warm night together.

It was cold. The snow drifted down gently throughout the day as Raven and Jinx stayed inside. Raven smiled, or at least tried to, as Jinx prepared to go out for the day. Jinx smiled back, trying hard to cover her emotions with in. Raven had noticed Jinx becoming more distant as the months went on, but whether it was because of work or something else she didn't want to know. She trusted Jinx to tell her if something was the matter, and didn't feel as if Jinx would do anything to betray her. An "I love you" sealed with a kiss marked Jinx's exit as the flame in Raven's heart started to flicker in worry. This time Raven wasn't as warm.

It was cold as Raven and Jinx sat across from each other coffee and tea steaming in the mugs in front of them. "Do you mean it?" Jinx asked, her expression unreadable. Raven nodded, a simple gesture sealing the fate of the both of them. Jinx sighed and muttered something about giving something a shot and looked hopefully at Raven. Raven smiled as put her hand on top of Jinx's hand. Jinx smiled back and gently kissed her hand, her emotions flowing over and filling Raven. When Jinx looked away however, Raven's smiled hardened into an emotionless expression as she stared at the hands currently entwined. The fire inside her shriveled and she shivered as she tried to warm herself from inside.

It was cold as the tears fell from Raven's cheeks onto her knees from how she had been sitting. The blankets were strewn across the floor from where she was, her powers creating most of the mess for the. As hard as she was trying to keep them under control, they still found small ways to lash at her weakest moments. The light was busted, and the room was encased in darkness as another wave of tears came over her and another wave of power cracked the mirror that was on the wall. Raven turned and looked at the empty spot next to her where Jinx's figure was indented into the bed. She would need a new mattress after this. The empty spot caused Raven to curl up, trying to imagine the witch as still being next to her, holding her while she let the tears flow. This time the warmth didn't come.
