Hey, This was just something that I wrote up that was out of the blue. Hope you like it. I have the other chapter written up, but I want to know how it does before i upload it. Enjoy!

There he is. Always with that bored expression on his face. But, of course, he is always here. Always waiting. Who is he waiting for? What does it matter? He's not waiting for me. Why would he? What am I to him? Nothing. Does he care for me? Of course not. To him, I don't even exist.
How can hair be so dark? So black? So gleaming? So thick?
He has such beautiful eyes. So blue. So dark. So mysterious. What is he keeping behind those eyes?
And those lips. Those smooth lips. Those soft lips. Why doesn't he ever smile? Does he know how to smile?
White dress shirt and black slacks. Top few buttons are open, showing his perfect neck and a little bit of his strong chest.
How does one so physically perfect exist? How does God create someone so handsome? Why must someone like him not belong to someone else? Why isn't he in someone else's arms? Why can't I have him?
Always with a cup of coffee. No cream. No sugar. Black, just black coffee. Sometimes with a newspaper, but he never reads it, nor does he even bother to touch it.
A sigh, a blink, a glance at his watch, a glance out the window. Always the same. Never out of order.
What is he thinking about? What does he want? What does he need?
Darien. Such a different name. A name that no other man owns. A name that only belongs to him. Shields. What a perfect last name for him. He shields his emotions very well.
Four fifty-five. Five more minutes till he leaves. Out into the deep city. Away from me. Away till tomorrow. And then, tomorrow the same time he comes. The same time he leaves.
Once he is gone, I go home too. To my house. To my little house near the park. To my cat. To my little black cat named Luna. To my daughter. To our daughter.
