Author's Notes: I wanted to do this last year for Femslash February. Better late than never, right? I absolutely love these two together. I just do not know why, ha ha. Anyway, the drabbles aren't exactly connected unless stated otherwise.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything, blah blah, you know the drill.
Gwen laced her fingers together and stared at the person sitting across from her. The sounds of the restaurant fell on deaf ears. Nothing mattered to her but the one she was dining with. They just made everything better. She was never a person that was good with dealing with people, even on a good day. But, if she was with them, she could take on anything.
"Gwen? Are you ok?"
She blinked. Alice stared at her with a concerned look. "Ah, yeah, I'm fine. Continue with what you were saying. It's very... interesting."
Alice gave her a skeptical look but continued with her talk. Gwen zoned in and out of her conversation (something about how Funland was desperately looking for a new place to build their amusement park) but she remained focused on her. Her mind drifted off to what her life would be if they stayed together.
Would they stay together long enough to get married? What about buying a house together? They didn't have to stay in Leaf Valley, but Gwen would want nature surrounding her. Maybe they could have a nice modern house in the valley. All they would have to do is change the Funland headquarters to something more homey. It wouldn't take her grandfather and the boys long if they started as soon as possible. Maybe she should bring it up...
"Gwen!"
Gwen jumped, staring at Alice again. "Y-yes?"
"You've spacing out! You haven't heard a word I said, haven't you?" Alice questioned, glaring at her.
The cat was out of the bag now. There was no way she would be able to get out of this one. Gwen rest her chin in her hand. "What do you think about getting married?"
They stared at each other for some time. Alice had a blank look on her face and Gwen just gave her a serious look. A few minutes passed before Alice stood up and ran off to the bathrooms.
Gwen smiled and leaned back in her chair. Anyone else would think that her reaction was a disappointment, but she heard. She heard the faintest whisper of a "yes" as Alice rushed passed her with a blushing face.
Now she could tell he grandfather (and anyone else) that this relationship was worth it.
