Scott talks to Virgil

As Virgil is sitting bed watching TV, he hears a knock on his bedroom door. Since his crash in TB2 everybody has been more or less checking up on him.

"Come in"

"Hey Virgil can we talk about what happened?"

"Sure Scott what's on your mind?"

"I just wanted to say how sorry I am, if I hadn't been chasing Ned Cook that you wouldn't have been shot out of the sky like that"

"Wow calm down, if you didn't go after Ned that he would have got away with everything. You had to stop them Scott. Just tell me that you are not blaming yourself for this?"

"Do you really want me to be honest with you?"

"I would rather you be honest with me then hide it Scott, you seem to be avoiding me the last couple of days. Which is something that you are very good at" said Virgil.

"Virgil I swear I haven't been avoiding you, I have been busy helping to repair TB2 for you"

"Then why do I get this feeling that you don't want to talk to me, I know that the others are worried about me but at least they are talking to me. Why can't you Scott?"

"Because I thought I had lost you okay and I couldn't face you because I knew you would blame me"

"Scott that is rubbish and you know it, of course I am not blaming you. That was just a bit of bad luck and nothing more"

"Okay your turn to tell me what is going on in that head of yours"

"It's nothing that I can't handle on my own Scott"

"Come on Virg, I spilled my guts out to you and now it's your turn"

"If I tell you this then you are going to think that I am crazy"

"No I won't"

"I don't think I'd want to fly TB2 again, I nearly died while bringing her back to the island"

"Wow Virgil that is something we can fix, it's just a confidence thing which youcan get back. Believe me once we have two ready you will be dying to take her out on a test flight. If it helps than I can come with you for the flight" offered

"And have you as my back seat driver, I don't think so bro, you know you would get away with it if it had of been Gordon or Alan but Scott I can handle two on my own"

"Okay thanks Virgil, I am going to go and speak to Dad. Give me an hour, I will come to get you to take you down to twos hanger. Do you think you will be alright to go down? If not then don't worry about it" said Scott

"I think I will be ready Scott, are you going to let onto Dad that you are taking me down there?"

"No I think that we should keep this between us for now, I don't think Dad would let you go down there alone"

"Okay see you in an hour
