After finding out about the cancer and moving back with Jackie, silver tries to live with all what's going on.
Things between her and Kelly hasn't been going well, so when she saw her in the hallway she tried to avoid the talk, but Kelly called her and rushed after her.
"hey, silver.."
"hey" she said trying to look like she's in a hurry
"how are you?"
"I'm fine." 'look Kelly can we have this conversation later?!! I have to go" she said already moving away, leaving Kelly behind before she could say a word.

After class, Naomi was walking out with her.
"so, are you coming tonight or what?"
Hesitating she said "I don't know, it depends.."
"on what? Silver come on.. we haven't gone out the three of us since EVER.. plus Ad is in a really bad mood, and I have to tell you I'm worried, she pretends that she's over Navid, but every time she sees him she goes all dreamy and everything.." she said begging her which made Silver smile.
Naomi added "see, this is what you need, you need to lighten up, and you are so not doing that by staying at home at a SATURDAY'S night… so?!!"
Silver said "as exciting as it seems, I really don't know if.."
Naomi said cutting her off "would you stop already… you are coming and that's final."
Naomi didn't give her a chance for any excuses, so Silver gave up and nodded okay.

As she got home, she smelled the food from the doorway.
"Silver.. you're home?" Jackie called enthusiastically.
She said walking into the dining room, surprised by the scene "you ordered?!"
"ya, I hope that's okay… I didn't have time to cook, plus I'm not a real.."
Cutting her off she said "No, no, I didn't mean that, it's just.."
"what?" she wondered.
"you shouldn't have.. I mean, I was going out tonight." She sighed.
Jackie said trying not to look disappointed "oh, well, it's okay we can do this later. You just go out and have fun with your friends. And don't worry about me, I'll be okay" then she started to put the food away.
Silver hesitated for a few seconds then she walked to the table and pulled a chair for Jackie.
She paused for a second then she said "oh honey, you don't have to."
"I know, but I want to" she said gesturing to the empty chair for Jackie to sit in. "plus, you know how I love Italian food." She added smiling at her.
They had dinner together, and silver actually felt a little closer to her mother ignoring the fact that this would never happen if she hadn't found about the cancer, and that she moved back with Jackie because she knew that she had only 3 months to live and that she wanted to live them with her.
Having all of this going through her mind, she forgot to call Naomi to cancel the outing. And moreover she forgot how things were going bad between her and Kelly. All she could think about is that she had only 3 months to live with her mother around, she couldn't even think about what's going to happen next.
