Yeah. One more thing I'm posting right before 4 in the morning. I think now would be a good time to go to sleep. Anyway, I don't think anyone's read any of these, but that's fine because I start to lose it after like 1:30, so it is likely that none of these things I wrote tonight make any sense. Oh well. I'll have to reread in the morning.

What was it about Stephen that drew her in so much? He was taken, but certainly not faithful. He was able to extract information, but only by betraying his fiancée. He was smart and eloquent, but couldn't resist being snarky. He was charming and sexy but still paid for sex. Sure, he was a great lawyer, loyal and had a great accent, but none of that explained what about him made Abby fall so stupidly in love. She didn't exactly have the greatest track record with men. It was no secret that her husband beat her. Which is why she should have been looking for someone sweet, kind and faithful. Yet she was inexplicably drawn to the womanizing Stephen. And it wasn't just attraction. She couldn't eat, sleep or think straight. In their time at Olivia's firm, she had fallen in love with him, but to him she was nothing but a coworker. She regretted more than anything that she didn't take Olivia's offer to meet him two years ago when she still had a chance. The worst part is that she knew if he offered her a one night stand, she would ignore the woman waiting for him at home and her desires for a real relationship with him and give him anything he wanted. Unbeknownst to her, this was a curse that she and Olivia shared. Both infatuated with unattainable men in relationships that they would not hesitate to break up with the chance, both desiring commitment but willing to settle for satisfying temporary lust. Both so in control of everything but their hearts.
