Okay this is another AU I thought of, so here is the basic summery...
Like Derek and Mark, Addison and Meredith grew up together and are best friends, the two of them bonded over the fact that they had absent parents. The four of them all went to the same college(Yale) and they all went to medical school together(Columbia). Derek and Meredith are also married, they got engaged in the middle of their junior year of college and got married at the end of their senior year. They all did their internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Fast forward a few years and Meredith and Derek have a 5 year old son, and Mark and Addison are finally engaged. Derek is a neurosurgeon, Mark is a plastic surgeon, Addison is a neonatal surgeon, and Meredith is in General Surgery but has also accepted a Fellowship for nuero surgery in which Derek is teaching her. They were all contacted by Webber and offered department head positions, which they all accept.
The story will somewhat follow the events of the show but some things may happen, some things won't. Like in my last story, a few characters won't exist, Sadie for example won't be in the story, as well as Finn. Meredith's mother will also not have alzheimer's, but their relationship will be strained. Christina, Alex, George, and Izzy will also still be in the story but they will play minor roles for a while. Derek's family will also have a huge role in this, so expect to see several chapters dealing with the Shepherd clan. Lexie, Thatcher, Susan, and Molly will also be minor characters. In this story, Meredith has know for a while that Thatcher has moved on and has a new family so she won't have a good relationship with him and Susan for a while. She will eventually get to know Lexie and they will become close but it will take sometime, with Molly, she won't be as close to her as she will be with Lexie. I plan to have the plane crash happen but I don't plan on killing off Lexie or Mark, I probably won't kill George either. The merger will also happen, and I will probably keep what happens in the shooting as is. Because I'm not having Ellis have alzheimer's, I probable won't have the whole alzheimer's trial thing happen, and I also due plan on having them still adapt Zola cause lets just face it, Zola is too cute to not have in the story.
I want Meredith and Derek to have a big family so be prepared for that. What I am thinking is that they will have Lucas, and then I want them to have twins, still trying to decide between two girls, two boys, or one of each. They will end up adopting Zola, and Derek Bailey will be born too, so that what will probably happen. If you want them to have more then that then feel free to say so but I feel 5 should be good ^^
Relationship wise: Obviously MerDer and Maddison, there will either be BurkTina or Crowen, but I'm not sure yet. Calzona will happen eventually. Maybe Alex/Lexie, maybe Jackson/Lexie. There are a lot of relationships that I need to figure out so feel free to offer up suggestions :)
