I don't think that passenger seat

Has ever looked this good to me

He tells me about his night

And I count the colors in his eyes

He'll never fall in love he swears

As he runs his fingers through his hair

I'm laughing cause I hope he's wrong

I don't think it ever crossed his mind

He tells a joke I fake a smile

That I know all his favorite songs

And..

After dinner I slipped away from my friends at the Slytherin table and went straight for the room of requirement. Well, almost straight for it. I quickly slipped into the bathroom nearest to it and fixed myself up a bit. I stared into the mirror and charmed my hair perfectly into place, made sure my clothes weren't wrinkled, and my mascara wasn't clumped. Not that Draco would notice anyway. I sighed and left the bathroom, and entered the room of requirement, excited to see my best friend alone. When i entered he lifted his eyes from his paper and smiled at me. Time froze, but before I started drooling I somehow managed to drag my body and bag into the seat next to him, on our favorite couch.

"Just so you know Lanie, my brain doesn't have the energy to work through this potions essay... Help me?" He batted his eyelashes jokingly, and flashed his gorgeous smile.

"Fat chance." Was my response, and I pulled out my own unfinished essay and started working on it, while sneaking peeks at Draco.

...

"finished!"

"Done!"

Draco and I triumphantly exclaimed at almost the exactly same time. I looked at him, sitting next to me, our legs touching, and laughed. We were so alike, yet so different.

I sighed and leaned back, stretching my arms above my head.

"So tell me loverboy, did anything interesting happen to you today?" I asked, teasing him as I practiced transfiguring a teacup into a flower.

"The usual. Pansy won't leave me alone. She's always all over me, I don't know about that one." Draco said, frowning.

"When are you going to tell her to piss off?" I laughed.

"Maybe I could just curse her into oblivion." It was Draco's turn to laugh. My breath caught at the lovely sound, and the life that was brought to his eyes. Draco was truly a beautiful being, He had no Idea.

"And that, my friend, is why you'll never find love." I stated simply.

He ran a hand through his perfect pale blond hair. I wished it was my hand, or that he was running that hand through my hair.

"Right. Love. That's not happening to me. I swear to you" He chuckled.

I looked at him with a small smile, secretly screaming on the inside. If only he knew, and felt the same way.

"Besides, nobody besides slaggy Pansy seems to be interested." Draco joked.

I humored him with a fake laugh.

He had no idea.

"Eh, you've got some stuff going for you. You're not that bad looking... I suppose, but you just have such an awful personality." I said sarcastically, while messing up his hair.

"Watch it." he warned, moving away from my hand. I stuck my tongue out. He then proceeded to mess up my hair. I grabbed his hands away and attempted pinning him down, but Draco is much stronger and faster. I soon found myself pinned under him, not that I minded.

"Fine. Sorry. Now get off." I said. When He did I was sad for the moment to end.

"ha."

I smiled and rolled my eyes.

He had no idea.

A/N

Hey guys, Rayleigh here! I know this is pretty crappy writing. I wrote it last night after new years, before bed. I'm too lazy to put in the edits. I might do it later. This is kind of a song fic, it might be to more than just I'd lie by Taylor Swift, but I haven't decided yet. Anywhoo, All I own Is my plot, and my characters. J.K. Rowling is Boss. Try to enjoy!

Stay Golden,

Rayleigh Jane.
