I like to think that Colin enjoyed technology as a whole. Thanks to Wikipedia for helping me find a video game from before my time XD I don't own anything.

The boy tapped buttons rapidly, his eyes darting back and forth over the small, dim screen.
"Come on, come on..." He whispered.
"You've got this, don't give up!" His brother exclaimed.
A small crowd gathered around the Gryffindor, gasping and whispering at the sight of the device in his hand.
"Merlin, what is that thing, Creevy?"
"Yeah, what is it?"
"What're you doing, Colin?"
A moment later, the boy groaned in disappointment, slamming the heel of his palm into his forehead.
"Can't believe I lost again," he grumbled. "I'll never wake up the Wind Fish at this rate..."
Minerva briskly to the cluster of students. Whatever could be causing a commotion in the Great Hall today? It was always something interesting, at the very least, when it concerned Muggleborn students.
"What is all the ruckus about?" she questioned, peering over Colin's shoulder.
The boy looked up at the professor, sighing.
"I lost to Dethl... Again."
Minerva squinted, leaning closer to look at the object in his hands, eyebrows shooting up, startled, when she recognized it. The esteemed Muggle Studies professor of Hogwarts, Charity Burbage, had been rambling about these latest advancements in... Video games, for hours on end just the other day.
"Is that... Is that a GameBoy, Colin?"
The boy nodded, a smile lighting up his small face once more.
"Yeah! My parents got it for me so I could play games while I'm here, since I won't have my consoles."
Minerva's brow furrowed and she looked very conflicted.
"Colin, you do realize that 'electronics' like this aren't allowed at Hogwarts, don't you?"
The boy frowned, looking down at the device in his hands.
"O-oh. Okay then."
She felt awful for breaking his heart like that, she had a soft spot for the boy, but what was she supposed to do? She was Head of House, after all.

"Come on, come on..." A boy whispered, his fingers flying over buttons.
"Yes! Take that, so-called 'Pokémon Champion'!" He crowed.
Minerva stopped, her heart twisting as she saw such familiar mousy-brown hair.
He looked so much like Colin; it hurt every time she came into contact with the boy who reminded her so much of her long-gone student.
Hold on...what on Earth was he doing?
She marched over to the boy, looking down at the thing in his hands.
The young first-year looked up at her with a crooked toothed grin.
"Hello, Professor."
She shook her head. The universe enjoyed playing cruel jokes, so it seemed.
What were the odds that Dennis's son would be as good at games as his uncle?
