Back Story: Born to unknown parents his fate was uncertain but through the hand of fate an elderly couple adopted him and raised him with more love then he could handle. His father taught him the code of chivalry and the ideals of a knight. He picked up random skills from his father and his odd jobs to provide for their small family.
When he was preparing to go to a hunter's school his parents were killed in a home invasion by the White Fang for unknown reasons. With hatred in his heart he took up his hand crafted armor and weapons and set out for revenge. The headmaster of Haven Academy, having known his parents and what he would do, intercepted him shortly after the fight started and pleaded with him to not kill them.
"They took away the only people who loved me for no good reason why shouldn't I?" the headmaster responded "Yes they did do that you are right about that but If I knew your father as well as I believe I did then you should know that he would understand why you would kill them. He would expect you to bear the burden and make sure they face the law for you are much better than they ever will be".
With these words said Ivory let the police take them in but not before saying to the headmaster "If the justice system fails me I will make my own justice" Headmaster responded "I understand now but remember, you're now one of my students so I will pretend I did not hear it".
So he attended Haven and met his teammates as well as his very first crush.
