Way of the Samurai 2: The Wild Dogs of Amahara

I've been in this town for 4 days now, its seems that the people here have been through a lot. Their faces shine with hope as they talk about a samurai who has become the people's champion, the children seem to lose fear of crime knowing that he's in their town.

But this story is not that samurai...

I'm not even samurai, I'm a sword-hunter and I've been in Amahara for 4 days searching for a golden sword that was rumored to be here and after that mess on that Festival night I plan on leaving this town due the magistrates suspecting any outsider of working for the Aoto Gang. But since I've gotta little free time I'll due one more sword-hunt.

There's an info broker at the shrine who only appears at night, but since the battle at the festival I wonder if she'll be there.

"Yo! Ya got anything for me?" I asked.

"There's a wild dog at the Otemon Gate" she said

"What?" I asked

She left...

"Well I guess I've gotta go to the gate" I told myself

As I arrived at Otemon Gate I noticed there was a lack of people walking around, all be it was night but still in this area its normal to see some people at night. The feeling was eerie, I felt my chest tightening, my palms began to sweat, I've felt this before... this feeling was excitement. There is man standing in front of the gate, he looks like a foreigner but thanks to the moonlight I can see what he is holding...this must be destiny.

"I came here to fight a worthy opponent like Kyojiro or Hanzaemon, or especially the People's Samurai...but the look in your eyes tell me that you're just as fierce. Will you battle me with every fiber of your being?" asked the Foreigner

"Yes" I replied

We battled under the moonlight... I've never felt so close to death, the wounds inflicted on me by this foreigner where unrivaled by any fight before this... but despite all this pain, I have never felt such peace in my life...

I defeated the foreigner, his body laid there in a pool of blood but could still feel his presence.

"Take my sword...you've given me a warrior's death and now I will give you my greatest honor...take the sword" uttered the foreigner

I took the Golden Sword and left Amahara.
