Hi! I am still awful at this whole writing thing... so don't judge me! Please review, I wanna know what you guys all think about my writing. If you don't review, I generally assume it is bad... but don't review if you don't want to. I am going to stop now!

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. That simple. Though, Christmas is coming soon, Jo...

Harry sat alone in the common room, waiting for the others to get back from Hogsmeade. If only the stupid Dursleys had signed his form, he could have gone with. Then again, when you blow up your aunt, your uncle isn't going to take it very well.

He was bored out of his mind, trying to find useful things to do. His charms essay lay crumpled on the couch, where he had abandoned it after giving up. Hermione could help him later, after she came back from Hogsmeade.

Harry had gone up to his dormitory to get his chess set, only to find Crookshanks playing with the queen. She had lost her commanding demeanor, beginning to beg for Harry to save her. He kicked Crookshanks, regretting it as the cat took a swipe at his leg and ran spitting.

Picking up the pieces to the chess set, he had taken it down, only to find that it was extremely boring to play chess with one person. Harry had tried to get the pieces to move on their own, but that resulted in failure.

Giving up on this as well, he trudged to the group of second years, hoping to join their game of Exploding Snap. To his displeasure, Colin Creevey was in that group. He, fortunately, was unnoticed as he retreated. This wouldn't be as easy as he thought. It might just be the worst day of his Hogwarts life.

He walked down the halls of Hogwarts, hoping he would find someone he recognized. Luckily, he found the Weasley twins, who were staying behind from Hogsmeade. That's suspicious. Harry walked toward them, and they turned on the spot.

"Harry! Good to-" One of the twins was interrupted as the other elbowed him in the side.

"Harry! What are you doing here? Hogsmeade is the best place in the world! How could you resist?"

Harry snorted. "Yeah, that's all I have heard. Which brings me to my question, why are you still here? Not detention, I hope." He folded his arms and gave the twins a scolding look.

"Well, George and I," Fred gestured to his twin and himself. "Have been causing what Minnie calls 'trouble'." He threw his hands in the air, as though this was the most preposterous idea in the world, causing Ginny, who was right behind them, to giggle.

"Are you two ever detention free?" Ginny asked, grinning slightly.

George turned to his little sister. "Dear child, what would be the fun in that? The only way to never get detention is if you are a studious freak, like Percy!"

Percy, who just happened to be walking by, stopped immediately. Like a soldier, he marched toward the twins. "Excuse me, I am Head Boy! You cannot speak about me that way without getting in trouble! Ten points from Gryffindor, and detention for you two." And with that, he turned and left.

Ginny fell to the floor with laughter, while Harry was holding on to the wall for support. The twins had a confused expression on their face while they watched Percy leave. "He can't take away points like that!"

"Only teachers can!"

"Or Dumbledore!"

"George, he is a teacher," Fred said, looking in awe at his brother's stupidity, causing Ginny and Harry to laugh harder.

As Fred and George were arguing about whether or not Dumbledore was considered a teacher or not, Harry whispered to Ginny, "This is the best worst day of my life!" causing Ginny to give him a strange look.
