The Person Within

Draco Malfoy was seated at his usual seat in the Great Hall. Geez, the Sorting gets more boring every year! He watched as so-and-so was put into Hufflepuff and blondie-girl forgot to take off the hat. He wasn't really paying attention, his outer self at least. You see, Draco had a deep dark secret, and it was this secret that kept him from telling anyone about it.
Goyle suddenly pushed him in a manor that had probably been meant to jerk Draco out of his own little world, but actually sent him flying onto the floor.
"What in bloody hell was that for?" Draco asked. Goyle grunted and motioned toward the plates, which were now piled with the most scrumptious food anyone could ever ask for, but which didn't interest Draco in the slightest. He watched as Crabbe and Goyle finished their fourth helpings of everything, and then, as everyone else did, turned his face toward the head table, where Dumbledore was motioning for silence.
"Students, teachers, and ghosts alike! Let us rejoice in the beginning of this new school year at Hogwarts! Before you head up to your dormitories, I have a few announcements! First, of course, the Forbidden Forest is well…forbidden. Also, Mr. Filch would like me to remind you that no magic is to take place in the corridors. Lastly, Hogwarts is doing something it has never done before; it is taking on an exchange student from the Salem Witches' Academy. Her name is Amy Cooper, and I hope you will give her a warm welcome. She has been sorted into Ravenclaw."
Draco looked over to the table to his right. Sitting there, with a magical light shining down on here, was the most beautiful creature Draco had ever seen. She was tall, but not to tall. She had gorgeous green eyes, and curly brown hair. She was smiling in a confident way. Draco was stunned. He was almost himself again. Almost.
After dinner, Draco got up to go. Upon reaching the doors, he came face to face with Amy herself. He wanted to say something nice, to become friends with this girl. But he couldn't. The secret…the secret…
"So, now Hogwarts is letting in some American trash…" he said.
"Are you insulting me? If you can call that insulting?" she replied coolly.
"Well what would you do?"
"I wouldn't waist my time with words. I'd just do this." And she slapped him, fast and hard, across the face.
After he had recovered, and secretly wiped the tears from his eyes, he had tried to go after her, to apologize. But his feet wouldn't move. The secret…the secret…
So what do you think? Should I continue? Just tell me in the little box right down there. Thank you!
