I don't own any characters. Jane the virgin belongs to the CW.

I was deeply angered by what the nuns did to Jane in episode seven and even more angry that Jane didn't quit on the spot.

When the couple gave Jane the coin with the image from that terrible website that her Victoria and Valeria had made, Jane knew it had to with Sister Margaret. She politely excused herself and approached the nuns.

"This is crazy." Jane stated as she held up the coin.

"This is hope, Miss Villanueva." Sister Margaret answered. "This is already bring more people to the church." She added.

Flabbergasted, Jane replied with "Why didn't you tell me about this?"

"Well many people like you and Sara Tessia are humble about publicizing their gifts." Sister Margaret stated in a dismissive tone.

"I am not a saint." Jane said in a reasoning tone.

"Yes, we made that clear on the website." Sister Margaret deadpanned, before adding "You are, however, a pregnant virgin. Medical mistake or not it is a miracle."

Jane was about to reply when Sister Margaret added "I mean think of the moments that had to happen to lead you up to your pregnancy...and think of the hope you are giving others who believe in your extraordinary fertility."

At that moment, something in Jane snapped. It was one thing that she became pregnant through in-vetro and it was another thing that the nuns wanted draw people back the church, but using her pregnancy to do it and claim it was god's will?! Right then and there, Jane spoke her mind

"You know, what I think? I think I should call ACLU and see what they have to say about this." Jane quipped.

At her words, Sister Margaret's face showed a brief flash fear on her face, before she quickly hid it and frowned at Jane "What did I said about causing more drama?" She added in a warning tone.

"Go ahead, fire me." Jane replied, surprising herself with her sudden boldness. "After what you've done, I'm no longer sure about my future here. As for, even suggesting that my pregnancy was God's will. The very thought of sneers at my intelligence as a woman and my humility as a Catholic." Jane paused before adding "Now take it down or I will sue you for violating my civil liberties and false advertising."

A stunned Sister Margaret could only meekly nod in defeat. Feeling satisfied, Jane turned on her heel and walked back inside.
