"Father, what will happen if we don't find Mother, Nooria, Maryam and Ali?" Asked Parvana.
"We will keep on looking until we give up hope Parvana." Said father
Father and Parvana were sleeping in the truck, until they heard a noise.
"Father wake up wake up. I thought I heard someone talking." Parvana whispered.
"just stay quiet and stay still. We will try to hear it again if that is true what you were saying. "Father whispered back to Parvana.
"Wait here I will see if there is anyone in the back of the truck." Said a unfamiliar voice. Father and Parvana just sat there, not moving and being quiet. You two come with me. Said the man. Parvana and father just sat there petrified. Come now! Yelled the strange man. "When he yelled at them they got out of their petrified state So they just did as they were told.
"Father what is he going to do to us?" Sobbed Parvana while she was walking.
"Please be quiet, we are almost to the place where I need to take you. "Said the strange man.
"May I asked where we are going? Another question too, why did you take us and what is your name? "demanded father.
"I will tell you if you corporate with me. Also I can see that this young boy isn't a boy but a girl in her facial futures. "
"Okay you know that my son Kaseem is actually a girl named Parvana. So tell us about you" said father.
"Well my name is Kaseem, I was part of the Taliban but I deserted them. I took you because I thought you could find me a young bride. I,I mean we are going to the refugee camps for my friends sisters aunt. Now does that answer your questions." Explained Kaseem and answered.
"Yes it does. After we where to find my wife and three of my other children, after my eldest Nooria gets married we were going to get married in a couple years. Would you be interested in marrying Parvana and helping us find the rest of my family?" Asked father.
"Yes I would be grateful to marry Parvana and find your family." Said Kaseem. Parvana blushed, then started to laugh.
"Father, Kaseem are those the refugee camps." Asked Parvana.
"Why yes those are it." Answered Kaseem. They all ran over to them. Parvana, father and Kaseem saw people they knew.
"Mother!" Parvana screamed. "Is that you?" Asked Parvana.
"Who said my name? Was it you Nooria, Maryam, Ali". Asked Mother.
"No Mother it wasn't us," Nooria answered for all of them. Father, Parvana and Kaseem were walking towards them.
"Mother it is me Parvana and Father." Exclaimed Parvana mother had just noticed them as they were walking towards them.
"Parvana, Father!" Mother yelled as she ran towards them.
"Mother we missed you so much. I'm so sorry. Apologized Parvana.'
"For what?" Asked Mother.
"For making you go to Mazar e- Sheriff all by yourself." Cried Parvana.
"Shh, its alright. I know your sorry and I'm sorry too. I thought I knew what I was doing." Said Mother
"Now I'll leave you and father alone." Parvana said quietly.
"I missed you so much. I was giving up hope." Mother and Father said to each other.
"Come with me". . Kaseem said to Parvana.
"No!" Parvana screamed and ran.
"Look your sister just got married. The least you can do for me is to come with me." Persuaded Kaseem.
"Fine, I guess I'll come. I don't think I am needed here anymore. I'll have to write a note to them." Said Parvana as she began to write. She finished the letter.
She told him that she was sad and she knew she was doing this to get away from the hardships. The next day she left.
Her parents didn't worry, in the letter she was in Pakistan. They found her and her family lived with her.
