Since I woke up today, up today

I look at your photograph all the time

These memories comeback to mind

And I don't mind

Nick had been on Miley's mind since she had woken up today. They had just broken up a few days ago. Since then, Miley has laid on her bed and looked at Nick photograph all day long. As she looked at it, so many memories came back to mind. Sure they made her cry, but she didn't mind that she remembered them.

I remember when we kissed

I still feel it on my lips

The time that you danced with me

And no music played

I remember those simple things

I remember 'til I cry

But the one thing I wish I'd forget

The memory I wanna forget

Some of Miley's memories included remembering whenh they kissed and dancing with no music. She loved how she still felt the kisses on her lips, how they tingled every time she thought about it. She loved how she still felt Nick's arms around from when they danced. She remembered simple things like those, but always with tears running down her face. But the memory she wanted to forget, the memory that held the reason for these tears, was when Nick said goodbye.

I woke up this morning

And played our song

And through my tears I sang along

I picked up the phone and then put it down

Cause I know I'm wasting my time

And I don't mind

Earlier that day when Miley had woken up, she put in a mixed cd that Nick had given her. The first song had been their song. As it played, Miley sang along with tears running down her face. Later on that day, she picked up the phone and almost called Nick, pretty much out of habit. But then she put it down, knowing that she was wasting her time, but she didn't mind.

Suddenly my cell phone's blowing up

With your ring tone

I hesitate but answer it anyway

You sound so alone

And I'm surprised to hear you say

Suddenly, Miley's phone started ringing with Nick's ringtone. She hesitated but then answered it.

"Hello?" asked Miley nervously.

"Miley?" asked Nick in the same tone, but Miley noticed something different. He actually sounded alone.

"Yes?" she replied. Then he said something that surprised her.

"I don't know how you will take this but I remember when we kissed. I still feel that tingle on my lips. I also feel the way I felt when you were inside my arms when we danced," Nick said nervously. Miley couldn't speak. She couldn't believe that Nick was feeling exactly the same way she was feeling. She had tears running down her face.

"Miley? I also want to let you know that my biggest regret was saying goodbye to you. I want you to forget that if you can, because I would like to be your boyfriend again. Will you get back together with me, Miley Ray Cyrus?"
