This is my version of when Lorelai find out about April, the daughter of Luke. This fanfiction is after the episode the prodigal daughter returns. This is a one shot, so I won't make another chapter...If you want, you can read it in French in the French section.

Lorelai was packing in Luke's thing in Luke's apartment. Luke was supposed to be there with her, but Ceaser need help in the kitchen during lunch time because the diner was full, as usual.

After she has empty Luke's wardrobe, like I told her, she decided to start with his drawers full of clothes. She opens the first, it was full of woodman shirt and she said:

'' This drawer is his only taste of clothes! ''

She put the shirts in a box. A folder was left in the drawer. She took it and said:

'' Maybe he buys me another house or maybe there are some other horoscopes? ''

She opens it and for title, it was write in the paper: " Who is my father? " She thinks that was weird so she turns the page and saw three pictures: one of Luke with a big circle and two others men with an X on it. Under Luke's picture, it was writes: It's him my father.

At this moment, Luke enters in his apartment and said:

'' Everybody is starving today and that make everybody crazy...I bring us some food. ''

He put the plates on the kitchen table and he join Lorelai and there he saw what she was holding and staring at.

'' You find it. ''

'' It seem. ''

'' I didn't want you to find out by yourself about it, I wanted to tell you, I swear, but I didn't know how. ''

'' Girls or boy? ''

'' Girl ''

'' What is her name? ''
'' April. ''

'' Since when did you know? ''

'' For about one week or more. "

" Did you see her since then? "

" No, it wasn't to know me, it was for a science affair. "

" You should talk to her and getting to know her. "

" But if she doesn't want to? "

" She will. A girl wants to know her father. "

" Yes but..."

" No but, I want you to call her or her mother, who is?

" Anna "

" So Anna...and I want you to know your daughter. "

After a long pause:

"I will do that for you. "

" Thank you Luke and I hope you don't have other kid that I should know. "

"I don't think so. "

And they kiss.
