I followed him. He was walking upstairs, farther up than I was ever planning on going. He constantly checked behind him. I nonchalantly pulled a book from my bag and leaned against the wall to my right. I had a clear view on where he was going. I kept moving my way up, until I saw him pacing in front of a door.

I was familiar with this door.

I took Harry this time. We fooled around and acted as if we were simply looking for an empty cranny of the school to snog. I pushed my fiery hair behind my ear, and eyed Malfoy's dark suit.

I guess you could say, the color suited him.

Harry told me not to go back up there, he explained to me how dangerous it could be if I was caught, but I disregarded his advice. He said that he'd find the rest out on his own.

This time, it was nearly dark, and my things were still left in the Common Room. I thought I'd be okay though.

As long as I didn't get caught, of course.

But Malfoy snapped his head behind himself, and his nose was pointed directly at me. I turned my head to the left, and continued walking, acting as if I hadn't noticed.

"If you're going to spy, you should at least do a better job, Weasley."

I moved my eyes toward him, my heart beating on the outside of my chest, and a wave of regret flooded over my nerves like a tide.

"Spying on what? You?" If I was going to get caught. I'd get caught in style.

"Oh, act innocent, you dirty blood traitor. Follow me once more, and we'll see if your blood is really as dirty as Granger's."

My hands were shaking. My mouth opened, and shut again. I regained my posture, and shook the hair from my face.

"Not everything is about you, Malfoy. Not everyone in Hogwarts is curious about what you're doing on the 7th floor."

"Yes, but you are." He smirked, and turned from me. I turned and walked downstairs, leftover adrenaline still pulsing through my system. I began to run as far from there as I could, wondering how I managed to leave without the last word.

Weasley's always get the last word, and a Malfoy was not going to change that.
