Prologue

Krugis Republic A.D 2301

An isolated and destroyed town left in ruins surrounded by a rocky and dessert like terrain. As the sun sets this evening gunfire and buildings being destroyed can be heard from a distance.

"This battle is a holy war in the name of god! We shall strike down the infidels and lay waste to the land of god!"

Large mobile suits all over the town were destroying buildings and everything. To the side of those buildings there were young children shooting at the mobile suits with rifles and RPG missile launchers.

"We shall not submit to the infidels!"

Then the mobile suits began shooting at the children killing them. While at the same time more children began shooting missiles at the mobile suits from well hidden places in all the rubble. Some of the mobile suits were either injured or destroyed. However they still managed to kill more of the children by shooting at their hiding places.

"By dying in battle we shall be let into the presence of god!"

Then from out of all the rubble a young boy with a rifle ran out and shot at some of the mobile suits and then hid back into another hiding spot, but then got knocked over due to an explosion from behind him from one of the mobile suit's rounds. Getting up he began thinking.

"In this world, there is no god!"

When he got up he began running again. From behind him one of the mobile suits began shooting at him and then he ran into another passageway to escape. The passageway he went into was a dead end.

"This battle is a holy war in the name of god! We shall strike down the infidels who disrespect our traditions and lay waste to the land of god!"

He looked back getting ready to run out but there was a mobile suit pointing its gun right at him. However before it had a chance to shoot at him a blast from above destroyed the suit in one shot. Then multiple blasts came down destroying the rest of the mobile suits.

Confused by all of this he looked up into the sky and saw a mobile suit hovering still with a green light coming from its back. As the boy stared at the machine his eyes grew bigger and bigger and stood there in awe.
